Shopify Payouts Tracker: Track Your Shopify Payout Schedule, Report, and Take-Home
Shopify tells you what a payout was worth on the day it left. It does not tell you what the store actually kept this month, what is still in transit, or how Shopify compares to the other places you sell. Earnly is the Shopify payouts tracker that puts all three on one board.

In short
A Shopify payouts tracker records every Shopify Payments deposit with the gross sales it came from, the processing fee Shopify took, the take-home that reached your bank, and the date it settled, so you can read your real store income instead of a running list of deposits. The Shopify mechanics matter here. In the United States the standard settlement time is 3 business days, counted from the business day after the sale is captured, and there is no minimum payout amount. Transactions captured Friday through Sunday are grouped into one payout that typically sends the following Wednesday, which is why a strong weekend looks like a quiet week in your bank account. Shopify creates the payout in the early evening of the scheduled day and most US banks post the ACH the next morning, though your bank can add 1 to 3 days of its own. On the Basic plan, Shopify Payments charges about 2.9% plus $0.30 for online card transactions and 2.6% plus $0.10 in person, so a $10,000 sales month arrives closer to $9,600 net of processing before you count app subscriptions, shipping, or the $39 a month plan fee. Earnly puts each payout on a row with gross, fee, net, status, and expected date, then lines Shopify up against Etsy, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal, YouTube, and the rest of your income so one board answers what the whole business earned. Earnly reads your numbers and never touches your money; it is not a bank or a payment processor and does not give financial or tax advice. Figures are estimates to confirm against your Shopify payout report. Plans start at $12 a month.
Why it matters
What this line of the statement buys you
Gross, fee, and net on every payout
A Shopify deposit is a net figure with the processing fee already removed. Earnly shows the gross sales behind it and the fee taken, so you can see what the 2.9% plus $0.30 actually cost you this month.
Weekend batching, made obvious
Friday to Sunday sales land in one Wednesday payout. Seeing the pay period rather than the deposit date stops a good weekend from reading like a dead week.
Pending payouts flagged
Payouts sitting in review, paused after a bank change, or held during a chargeback investigation show as pending with a reason instead of silently not arriving.
Shopify next to every other channel
Most stores also sell somewhere else. Shopify beside Etsy, Amazon, and your own Stripe checkout is how you find out which channel keeps more of each dollar after fees.
How you use it
From connected to answered
Connect your store
Link Shopify once and Earnly starts pulling payout records onto the board with their pay periods attached.
Add your other channels
Etsy, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad, and nine more sit on the same tape in USD.
Read the pay period, not the deposit
Each payout shows the sales window it covers and the date it is expected to settle, so cash flow stops being a surprise.
Reconcile monthly
Check the board against your Shopify payout report each month; Earnly figures are estimates from the data available to us.
It works the same for every kind of seller: see it in action for freelancers, amazon sellers, youtubers or check the income tracker pricing.
Questions people actually ask
How do I track my Shopify payouts?
Shopify shows payouts under Finances in the admin, but that report is Shopify-only and shows net deposits rather than what your whole business earned. The dependable method is to record each payout with the gross sales behind it, the processing fee, the take-home, and the pay period it covers, then track it beside your other sales channels. Earnly does this automatically and puts expected pay dates on a payout calendar. The full Shopify payout schedule guide covers the timing rules.
How long do Shopify payouts take?
For US stores on Shopify Payments the standard settlement time is 3 business days, counted from the business day after the transaction is captured. Weekends and holidays do not count, so a Friday sale settles the following Wednesday rather than Monday. Shopify sends the payout in the early evening and most US banks post it the next morning, though some banks add 1 to 3 days. There is no minimum payout amount in the United States.
Why is my Shopify payout pending?
A payout stays pending when the account is under review, when a bank account change has triggered a 3 to 5 business day verification pause, or when a chargeback or compliance check is open on the store. It can also read as pending simply because the pay period has not closed yet. Shopify shows the reason in the Payments section of the admin. Our guide on a Shopify payout pending or paused walks through each cause and what to do.
What fees come out of a Shopify payout?
On the Basic plan Shopify Payments takes about 2.9% plus $0.30 for online card sales and 2.6% plus $0.10 for in-person sales, and the deposit you receive is already net of that. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from later payouts, which is why a payout can be smaller than the sales it covers. Using a third-party gateway instead of Shopify Payments adds a surcharge of 2%, 1%, or 0.6% on Basic, Grow, and Advanced. The per-platform fee breakdown shows what each channel keeps.
Can I see Shopify and Etsy sales in one place?
Yes, and for multi-channel sellers that is the point. Etsy and Shopify have different fee structures, different deposit rhythms, and different reports, so comparing them by hand means opening two dashboards and doing the arithmetic. Earnly tracks 12 platforms on one board with take-home per source. Sellers commonly find the channel with higher gross is not the one that keeps more, which is the argument our Etsy vs Shopify fees comparison lays out.
