In short
The main Stan Store alternatives are Beacons (Creator Plus, $30 a month, 0% seller fee), Linktree Premium ($35 a month, 0% seller fee), Payhip (no monthly fee at 5% a sale, or $29 and $99 plans), Gumroad (no monthly fee, 10% plus $0.50 a sale), Teachery ($49 a month), Podia (from $42 a month billed yearly) and Kajabi (from $179 a month). Stan itself costs $29 a month for Creator or $99 for Creator Pro, $300 or $948 billed yearly, with no Stan transaction fee. At $2,000 a month in sales, Stan Creator and Beacons Creator Plus both cost about $100 a month all in, card processing included, while Gumroad costs about $290. Prices were read from each vendor page on October 1, 2026.
The honest read
Most Stan Store alternatives lists are written by a company selling one of the alternatives, and several carry prices that no longer match the vendor page. Stan's own comparison table puts Kajabi at $89 to $499 a month; Kajabi's pricing page now starts at $179 month to month. Third-party guides still quote Beacons Creator Max at $90; the Beacons plan page now shows $100 month to month. This page prices every tool from its own page, adds card processing so the totals are what actually leaves your account, and shows where the cheapest choice flips as sales grow. It also covers the piece no storefront solves: seeing Stan, YouTube, brand deals and every other income source in one place.

US prices in USD before sales tax. Month-to-month price first, then the yearly-billed price where the vendor publishes one. The seller fee is what the platform itself takes from each sale; card processing (usually 2.9% plus $0.30 in the US) comes on top everywhere unless noted.
| Tool | Month to month | Billed yearly | Platform fee per sale | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stan Store | $29 Creator, $99 Creator Pro | $300 or $948 a year | 0% | Link-in-bio sellers who want courses, bookings and DMs in one plan |
| Beacons | $10 Creator, $30 Creator Plus, $100 Creator Max | $100, $300 or $900 a year as displayed | 9% on the $0 plan and Creator, 0% on Creator Plus and Max | Creators who also chase brand deals and want a media kit |
| Linktree | $8 Starter, $15 Pro, $35 Premium | $6, $12 or $30 a month | 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium | Creators whose page is mostly links, with a few products |
| Payhip | $0, $29 Plus, $99 Pro | Not compared here | 5%, 2% or 0% | Digital download sellers who want their own branded store |
| Gumroad | No monthly fee | No subscription | 10% plus $0.50, or 30% through its Discover marketplace | Low or irregular sales where a subscription would not pay off |
| Teachery | $49 | $470 a year | 0% | Course creators who want full design control |
| Podia | Not shown on the page we read | $42, $84 or $150 a month billed yearly | 5% on Mover, 0% above | Courses, downloads and email from one dashboard |
| Kajabi | $179 Basic, $249 Growth, $499 Pro | $143, $199 or $399 a month | 0%; outside processors cost 2%, 1% or 0.5% | Course and coaching businesses past $10,000 a year |
Beacons displays Creator Max at $100 month to month and, on the yearly toggle, "$900 billed annually" next to $83.30 a month, which would be $1,000 a year. The two yearly figures do not agree, so confirm the Creator Max total at checkout. Stan Payments, payment plans, upsells, affiliates and email marketing all sit on Creator Pro, not Creator.

What each platform really costs a month, card processing included
Two creators selling $50 products: one at $2,000 a month (40 orders), one at $10,000 a month (200 orders). Each total is the month-to-month subscription plus the platform fee plus US card processing at 2.9% plus $0.30 an order. Podia uses its yearly-billed price, the only one on its page.
| Plan | At $2,000 a month in sales | At $10,000 a month in sales |
|---|---|---|
| Stan Store Creator, $29 | $99 (5.0%) | $379 (3.8%) |
| Stan Store Creator Pro, $99 | $169 (8.5%) | $449 (4.5%) |
| Beacons Creator, $10 plus 9% | $260 (13.0%) | $1,260 (12.6%) |
| Beacons Creator Plus, $30 | $100 (5.0%) | $380 (3.8%) |

| Payhip Plus, $29 plus 2% | $139 (7.0%) | $579 (5.8%) |
| Payhip Pro, $99 | $169 (8.5%) | $449 (4.5%) |

Stan also passes on the Stripe payout fee it lists in its help center, 0.25% plus $0.25 per payout with a $1 minimum. Cashing out weekly adds about $6 a month at $2,000 in sales and about $25 at $10,000. Gumroad drops its own cut to 5% plus $0.50 on direct sales once you pass $20,000 in a calendar month, which is above both examples.
Why creators look for a Stan Store alternative
Three reasons come up most. The first is the gap between plans. Creator at $29 covers the store, courses, bookings, memberships and AutoDM, but discount codes, order bumps, payment plans, funnels, affiliate management and email broadcasts all sit on Creator Pro at $99. A creator who only wants to run a launch sale ends up paying $70 a month more for one feature.
The second is that Stan has no $0 entry. Its help center says plainly there is no free plan, so a creator testing a first $15 template pays $29 before the first sale. Beacons, Linktree, Payhip and Gumroad all let you start at $0 and pay per sale instead.
The third is control. Stan is built around a mobile link-in-bio page. Creators who want a full website, their own course design or a store that does not look like every other Stan page tend to move to Teachery, Podia or Kajabi.
Stan Store vs Beacons, the closest like-for-like switch
Beacons is the nearest equivalent: link in bio, a store for digital products, courses, memberships, email and Instagram auto-DM in one place. The difference is in how the plans are cut. Beacons Creator is $10 a month but keeps a 9% seller fee, which costs more than Stan Creator once you sell about $222 a month. Creator Plus at $30 a month removes the seller fee and adds unlimited email sends, memberships, courses and buy now pay later, which puts it level with Stan Creator at $2,000 a month in sales and $1 apart at $10,000.
Billed yearly the two are identical, $300 a year each. The deciding question is features, not price. Beacons includes email sends and memberships on Creator Plus, where Stan reserves email broadcasts and flows for the $99 plan. Stan includes coaching-call bookings and a community on its $29 plan. Beacons also keeps a media kit and brand-deal tools, which matters if sponsorships are part of your income. We price the full Beacons ladder, including the Creator Max figure that does not match itself, in Beacons pricing.
Stan Store vs Kajabi, when the extra $150 a month pays off
Stan's own comparison table lists Kajabi at $89 to $499 a month. Kajabi's pricing page today shows Basic at $179 month to month or $143 billed yearly, Growth at $249 or $199, and Pro at $499 or $399, with no revenue share on any plan. That makes Kajabi Basic $150 a month more than Stan Creator, or about $1,800 a year.
What the extra buys is depth: full websites, multi-step funnels, advanced automations, live cohort courses and, on Pro, your own branded app. For a coach or course business doing $50,000 a year and up, that can replace three or four separate tools. For a creator selling templates and a few calls, it is cost without return. Kajabi also charges 2%, 1% or 0.5% by plan if you use an outside processor instead of Kajabi Payments, so check how you take payment before comparing. If you are weighing course hosts, our Teachable vs Kajabi fees breakdown runs the same math for Teachable.
Gumroad and Payhip, when a subscription does not pay off yet
If you sell less than about $260 a month in $50 products, Gumroad's 10% plus $0.50 costs less than Stan's $29, because there is no monthly fee. Past that point it gets expensive quickly: at $2,000 a month Gumroad takes about $290 all in against $99 on Stan Creator. Gumroad is now the merchant of record and collects and remits sales tax for you, which is a real saving in admin time if you sell to buyers in many states. Our Gumroad fees guide walks through a single sale line by line.
Payhip sits between the two. Its $0 plan takes 5% a sale, Plus at $29 a month drops that to 2%, and Pro at $99 removes it. The break-even points are about $967 a month in sales to move from the $0 plan to Plus, and $3,500 a month to move from Plus to Pro. Payhip gives a proper branded store with a custom domain, which some creators prefer to a link-in-bio page.
Teachery, Podia and Linktree for specific jobs
Teachery is one plan, $49 a month or $470 a year, with every feature and no transaction fee. It suits course creators who want to design every page themselves. It does not do the link-in-bio storefront or AutoDM that bring most creators to Stan.
Podia lists Mover at $42 a month billed yearly with a 5% transaction fee, Shaker at $84 and Earthquaker at $150 with no Podia fee. It covers courses, downloads, coaching, community and email in one dashboard and gives you a real website.
Linktree is the cheapest option for a page that is mostly links. Starter at $8 a month and Pro at $15 both keep a 9% seller fee on products; Premium at $35 a month removes it. If your link page is mostly product recommendations rather than your own products, a dedicated storefront for the gear and software you recommend often earns more from the same traffic.
Fees most comparisons leave out
Every tool on this page still charges card processing. On Stan that is Stripe or PayPal at their standard US rate, 2.9% plus $0.30 a sale, plus 1.5% for buyers outside the US. Afterpay costs 6% plus $0.30 and Klarna 5.99% plus $0.30, according to Stan's help center, so offering buy now pay later on a $500 coaching package costs about $30 in fees instead of $15.
Stan also lists a payout fee of 0.25% plus $0.25 per payout with a $1 minimum. It is small, but it means cashing out every few days costs more than cashing out weekly. Platforms that process cards themselves fold some of this into their own fee; Gumroad, for example, charges its 10% plus $0.50 and then card processing on top, and its 30% marketplace fee includes processing. When you compare, compare the total that leaves your account, not the sticker price. Our PayPal fee calculator works out the processing side for any amount.
The part no storefront answers
Stan, Beacons and every tool above show you what sold on that one platform. None of them shows you what you earned this month across all of them. Most creators who sell on Stan also have YouTube AdSense, a brand deal invoice, Patreon or Substack subscribers and maybe an Amazon storefront, and each one pays on a different day with different fees taken out.
That is the job Earnly does. You bring in each payout, including the Income tab CSV Stan lets you download, and Earnly shows gross, fees and take-home per source on one board, with a payout calendar and a next-month forecast that is always labeled an estimate. It is not a storefront and does not replace Stan; it sits next to whichever store you choose. See how it works for digital product sellers and course creators, or compare the Solo, Creator and Studio plans.

Questions people actually ask
What is better than Stan Store?
It depends on your sales. Under about $260 a month, Gumroad or the $0 plans on Payhip and Beacons cost less because there is no subscription. From a few hundred dollars a month up, Beacons Creator Plus at $30 and Linktree Premium at $35 cost about the same as Stan Creator at $29. For a full course business, Kajabi from $179 or Podia from $42 billed yearly give more depth.
Is Stan Store or Beacons better?
On price they are level: Stan Creator is $29 a month and Beacons Creator Plus is $30, and both are $300 billed yearly with no seller fee. Beacons includes email sends and memberships at that price, where Stan puts email broadcasts on its $99 plan. Stan includes coaching bookings and a community at $29. Pick by the features you will use.
Is Stan Store cheaper than Kajabi?
Yes. Stan Creator is $29 a month and Creator Pro $99, against $179 for Kajabi Basic month to month or $143 billed yearly. Neither takes a revenue share. Kajabi costs more because it adds full websites, funnels, advanced automations and, on Pro at $499 a month, a branded mobile app.
How much does Stan Store take per sale?
Stan takes 0% of each sale. You pay the $29 or $99 subscription plus card processing, which is 2.9% plus $0.30 a sale in the US through Stripe or PayPal, 1.5% more for international buyers, and a payout fee of 0.25% plus $0.25 per payout with a $1 minimum.
Is Stan Store free?
No. Stan has no free plan; its help center says so directly. Both plans come with a 14-day trial. Affiliate-only accounts exist for people who resell other creators' products, but they do not include a Stan storefront of your own.
What is the cheapest Stan Store alternative?
Gumroad and the $0 plans on Payhip, Beacons and Linktree have no subscription, so they are cheapest at low sales. They take 5% to 10% a sale instead, so the cheapest option flips as you grow: at $2,000 a month in sales, Beacons Creator Plus, Linktree Premium and Stan Creator all cost about $100 all in, and Gumroad about $290.
Can I move my products from Stan Store to another platform?
Yes. Plan on re-uploading digital files and course videos, rebuilding product pages and moving your customer and email list to the new platform. Recurring memberships are the hard part, because each member's billing runs through your Stan checkout, so decide how members will rejoin before you switch and keep Stan live until they have.
How do I track income from Stan Store with my other platforms?
Download the CSV from the Income tab in Stan, which lists each order with its Stripe fees, and bring it into one place with your YouTube, Patreon, brand deal and shop payouts. Earnly does this on one board with gross, fees and take-home per source and a payout calendar.
