In short
Hurdlr pricing has three levels. The no-cost tier covers semi-automatic mileage, manual income and expense entry and live tax estimates. Premium is $9.99 a month, or $99.99 a year through the app stores and $100 a year on the web plan. Pro is $200 a year, sold annually only, and it includes an annual tax filing covering the federal return and one state. Those figures come from the Hurdlr help center, the Apple App Store listing and the Google Play listing, all checked on September 16, 2026, because hurdlr.com/pricing itself names the plans and publishes no dollar amount for any of them.
The honest read
This page exists because the obvious place to look does not work. Go to hurdlr.com/pricing and you get Hurdlr Premium, Hurdlr Pro, an Enterprise contact form and not one price. We pulled the page source to be sure it was not a rendering problem: the only dollar figures anywhere in that HTML are marketing statistics, $8 billion in finances tracked, $300 million, and the claim that the average user finds over $5,600 in deductions. Nothing that tells you what the subscription costs. The real numbers are published, just scattered across three other places that do not perfectly agree, and that gap is why comparison sites are still repeating figures Hurdlr has not charged in years. The aggregator text feeding several directory comparisons right now says Hurdlr is $7.99 a month or $60 a year. It is not. What we found instead: the help center says Premium is $9.99 monthly or a $100 annual plan it costs out at $8.34 a month, while both app stores charge $99.99 for the same annual plan. Pro at $200 a year is not sold in either app store at all, since the in-app purchase lists top out at $99.99, so it is a web-only, annual-only product. And if your bank runs the Q2 digital banking marketplace, Hurdlr Premium is listed there at $8 a month, currently discounted to $6, which is below the direct price on every billing cycle. Below is each figure, where it comes from, and the three or four places the arithmetic actually decides something. One thing to say plainly, since this page sits on an income tracker: Hurdlr is a genuinely good product and nothing here argues you should not buy it. It is built for people whose biggest deduction is the car. What it will not do is tell a creator or online seller what each platform kept before paying out, which is the job Earnly does from $12 a month. Plenty of self-employed people are best served by both.

Hurdlr pricing in 2026, plan by plan
US prices as published in the Hurdlr help center and the Apple App Store in-app purchase list, both checked on September 16, 2026. Hurdlr's own pricing page carries no dollar figures, so there is no vendor price list to check these against. Where the help center and the app stores differ, both numbers are shown.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Annual cost per month | What the plan includes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | Semi-automatic mileage tracking with unlimited manual trips, manual income and expense entry, real-time tax estimates, basic reports |
| Premium | $9.99 | $99.99 in the app stores, $100 on the web plan | About $8.33 | Automatic mileage detection, automatic expense and income tracking through linked bank and card accounts, speed tagging, AI-suggested and custom expense and mileage rules, detailed tax calculations, tax payment tracking, work hours, report exports |
| Pro | Not offered | $200 | About $16.67 | Everything in Premium plus an annual tax filing covering the federal return and one state, invite your accountant, invoicing and payment collection, chart of accounts, general ledger, assets, equity and liabilities, manual journal entries, home office deduction tracking, advanced reporting |
Pro is annual only. There is no monthly Pro price, and Pro does not appear in the Apple or Google in-app purchase lists, both of which stop at $99.99, so it is bought on the web. Enterprise pricing for companies putting Hurdlr in front of their own agents or drivers is quoted on request and not published.

Where each Hurdlr price is published, and what it says
Four sources, checked the same day. They mostly agree, and the two places they do not are worth knowing about before you budget.
| Source | Premium monthly | Premium annual | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| hurdlr.com/pricing | No price published | No price published | No price published |
| Hurdlr help center | $9.99, cancel anytime | $100, costed at $8.34 a month | $200 per year |
| Apple App Store in-app purchases | $9.99 | $99.99 | Not sold in the app |
| Google Play in-app purchases | Range runs $5.99 to $99.99 per item | Range runs $5.99 to $99.99 per item | Not sold in the app |
| Q2 digital banking marketplace | $8 list, $6 with the current 25% discount | Not offered, billed monthly | Not offered |
The Premium annual gap is one cent and does not matter to your budget, but it does tell you the web plan and the app store subscriptions are separate billing rails, which matters a great deal if you ever want a refund. The Google Play range is the more interesting line: its floor of $5.99 sits below the $9.99 that Apple lists and below the monthly price the help center publishes.

Monthly or annual billing: what a year of Hurdlr costs
Hurdlr discounts annual billing on Premium and sells Pro only as an annual plan. These are the totals you would actually pay over twelve months.
| Plan and billing | Cost over 12 months | Compared with | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium, monthly | $119.88 | Premium annual at $99.99 | Pay $19.89 more, about 17% |
| Premium, annual | $99.99 | Premium monthly at $119.88 | Save $19.89, which Hurdlr rounds to 16% |
| Premium through a Q2 bank marketplace at list | $96.00 | Premium annual at $99.99 | Save $3.99 and keep monthly billing |
| Premium through a Q2 bank marketplace at the current discount | $72.00 | Premium annual at $99.99 | Save $27.99 while the discount lasts |
| Pro, annual | $200.00 | Premium annual at $99.99 | Pay $100.01 more for filing and full accounting |
The monthly-to-annual saving on Premium is real but modest, under $20 a year. Given that Hurdlr says refunds are rarely granted, starting monthly and switching to annual once you know the app suits you costs you very little.

Is Hurdlr Pro worth $100 more than Premium?
The step from Premium to Pro costs $100.01 a year. Almost all of that decision rests on one included item, the tax filing, so here is what the alternatives cost.
| How you file | Typical annual cost | What is included | Verdict against Hurdlr Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hurdlr Pro | $200 all in | Tracking, accounting, invoicing, plus federal and one state filed | The benchmark |
| Hurdlr Premium plus a paid preparer | $400 to $700 | Tracking, plus a self-employed return prepared for you | Pro is cheaper, and by a wide margin |
| Hurdlr Premium plus filing it yourself | $99.99 plus your time | Tracking only | Cheaper in dollars if your return is simple |
| Everlance Professional | $119.99 | Mileage and expense tracking, filing, $1 million audit defense | Cheaper than Pro by $80, and adds audit defense |
| Keeper | $240 tracking plus $199 to $399 filing | Expense tracking and a filed return | More expensive than Pro on every combination |
A professionally prepared self-employed return commonly runs $300 to $600, which is the figure that makes Pro look good. The honest counterpoint is Everlance Professional at $119.99, which bundles filing and audit defense for $80 less. Our <a href="/everlance-pricing">Everlance pricing</a> breakdown covers that plan in detail.
Why Hurdlr does not put a price on its pricing page
We do not know why, and we are not going to guess at a motive. What we can report is what is there. On September 16, 2026 hurdlr.com/pricing described Hurdlr Premium in three lines about expenses, mileage and live tax estimates, described Hurdlr Pro in three lines about payments, bookkeepers and financial statements, offered an Enterprise contact form, and repeated a Try It Free button several times. No plan cards with figures, no comparison grid, no annual toggle.
To rule out a script that loads prices after the page renders, we downloaded the raw HTML and searched it for dollar amounts. There are three. None is a subscription price: $8 billion in finances tracked, $300 million, and a line saying freelancers find over $5,600 in deductions on average. The prices are not hidden in the source waiting for a widget. They are not on that page at all.
This is the opposite of the problem we found on the Everlance pricing page, where the current figures render correctly but an older, cheaper ladder is still sitting in the source code for scrapers to find. Different failure, same result for you: what search engines and comparison sites report about the price is unreliable, so it pays to read the primary source. For Hurdlr, the primary sources are the help center at university.hurdlr.com and the two app store listings.
What the Hurdlr free tier actually does, and where it stops
Hurdlr's no-cost tier is more useful than most free tiers in this category, and it is worth understanding before you pay for anything. You get mileage tracking, but semi-automatic rather than automatic: you tell the app when a drive starts and stops instead of it detecting trips in the background. Manual trips are unlimited. You get manual income and expense entry, real-time tax estimates as you enter figures, and basic reports.
The wall is automation. Linking a bank account or card so transactions import and categorize themselves is a Premium feature, as is background trip detection, as are the AI-suggested rules that make the categorization stop being a chore. If you drive ten business trips a month and enter a handful of expenses, the free tier genuinely covers it and you should not pay. If you drive daily, the free tier turns into a manual logging habit you will abandon in March, and an abandoned log is worth nothing at tax time.
That is the real test for the $9.99, and it is about your behavior rather than the feature list. Automatic tracking is worth paying for precisely because it survives the weeks you forget about it.
The Hurdlr price nobody writes about: the bank marketplace
Hurdlr distributes through Q2, the platform a large number of US banks and credit unions use to run their online banking. Inside that marketplace, Hurdlr Premium is sold as its own edition at $8 a month plus applicable taxes, with a 25% discount running that takes it to $6, a 7-day trial, one user, billed monthly, cancel anytime. The feature list shown against it is the standard Premium set: automatic mileage, automatic expense and income tracking, real-time tax calculations, speed tagging, work hours, custom rules and report exports.
Read that against the direct price and the arithmetic is straightforward. List is $8 versus $9.99, so $96 a year against $119.88, and even against the $99.99 annual plan the marketplace list price is cheaper while keeping monthly billing. At the discounted $6 it is $72 a year, about 28% below the best direct price.
The catch is access. You cannot simply go and buy this edition. It appears if your own bank or credit union offers the Q2 marketplace inside its digital banking, so the practical step is to log into your business banking and look for a marketplace, apps or offers section before you subscribe on hurdlr.com. It takes two minutes and on the discounted rate it is worth about $28 a year. We have not seen this mentioned in any Hurdlr pricing article.
Why Pro costs $200 and cannot be bought in the app
Hurdlr Pro is $200 a year, per the help center article that covers it, and there is no monthly option. Upgrading from Premium prorates, so the unused portion of a Premium subscription is applied against the Pro price rather than lost.
What you get for the extra $100.01 is two different things bundled together. The first is a real set of accounting features: a chart of accounts, a general ledger, tracking for assets, equity and liabilities, manual journal entries, invoicing with payment collection, home office deduction tracking, advanced reports and the ability to invite your accountant. That is the difference between an app that logs your money and an app that keeps books.
The second is the annual tax filing, federal plus one state, included for US non-enterprise Pro users. That is the item doing most of the work in the value calculation, because a self-employed return handled by a preparer commonly costs $300 to $600, as our breakdown of what an accountant costs when you are self-employed sets out.
Worth knowing before you plan around it: Pro is absent from both app stores. Apple lists exactly two Hurdlr in-app purchases, Premium monthly at $9.99 and Premium annual at $99.99. Google Play's in-app purchase range runs $5.99 to $99.99 per item. Neither has a $200 item, so Pro is bought on the web, which also means an App Store refund request is not an option on it.
Refunds, cancelling, and why the billing rail matters
Hurdlr's refund policy is candid about being restrictive. Because you can try the product, choose between plans and cancel at any time without contacting anyone, refund requests are rarely granted. Cancelling stops the renewal and leaves your paid features running until the end of the term you already paid for, so there is no reason to delay a cancellation you have decided on.
The exception is the one that makes the app store question practical rather than trivia. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you can ask Apple or Google for a refund under their own policies and windows, which are more generous than Hurdlr's. If you subscribed on the web, Hurdlr's policy is the only one that applies. Same product, same price within a cent, materially different position if you change your mind in week two.
So if you are undecided and the penny difference is irrelevant to you, subscribing to Premium through the app store buys you a refund route that the web plan does not offer. And since Pro is web-only, a Pro subscription never has that route, which is one more reason to spend a year on Premium before committing $200.
The prices still circulating that Hurdlr does not charge
Search for what Hurdlr costs and a good share of what comes back is wrong, in a consistent direction: too low and too old. The comparison text feeding several directory pages right now states that Hurdlr is free with manual tracking or $7.99 a month or $60 a year. Those numbers are not close to the current ones. Premium is $9.99 a month and $99.99 or $100 a year, which is 25% above that monthly figure and two thirds above that annual figure.
The mechanism is easy to follow once you know the pricing page carries no figures. A directory cannot scrape a price that is not there, so it falls back to whatever was recorded when a human last filled in the profile, and every site that copies that profile inherits the same stale number. It then sits there, confidently, for years.
The practical rule is the same one we reached after checking Everlance, MileIQ and Link My Books: for a subscription price, read the vendor's own help center or the app store listing, and treat every review site, comparison grid and roundup as a lead rather than a fact. We publish the figures on this site with the date and the source attached for exactly that reason, and when we find we have been carrying a stale number ourselves we correct it and say so.
Who Hurdlr is priced right for, and who it is not
Hurdlr is priced well for the person it was designed around: someone self-employed whose largest deduction is the vehicle and whose income and expenses arrive as ordinary bank and card transactions. A rideshare or delivery driver, a real estate agent, a sales rep, a mobile trade. For that person $9.99 a month is cheap against what the mileage deduction alone is worth, and Pro at $200 with a filed return is a defensible way to buy the whole tax problem at once.
It is priced poorly for one specific situation, and it is the one this site exists for. If your money arrives as platform payouts, Hurdlr sees the deposit and nothing behind it. When it records a $412.60 Etsy deposit, that is a true fact and also the loss of the three numbers you needed: that the gross sale was $520, that fees took $107.40, and that the effective rate on that payout was 20.7%. Your 1099-K reports the gross. Build a Schedule C from net deposits and your receipts are understated by exactly the fee total.
That is a different job, not a better one. Earnly puts gross, fees and take-home for twelve platforms on one board, starting at $12 a month billed yearly, and it keeps no ledger and posts nothing to QuickBooks. A driver who also sells on Etsy is genuinely better off with both, and the honest total for that stack is Hurdlr Premium plus Earnly Solo, not a fight between them. If you want to see the alternatives to Hurdlr side by side rather than its price list, our Hurdlr alternatives page covers that, and the head-to-head on cost is in our Hurdlr vs Everlance pricing comparison.

Questions people actually ask
How much does Hurdlr cost?
Hurdlr costs nothing on its free tier, $9.99 a month for Premium, or $99.99 a year through the app stores and $100 a year on the web plan. Hurdlr Pro is $200 a year and is sold annually only. Those figures come from the Hurdlr help center and the Apple App Store listing on September 16, 2026. Hurdlr's own pricing page names the plans but publishes no dollar amount for any of them.
Is Hurdlr free?
Partly. The free tier is permanent and needs no card, and it covers semi-automatic mileage tracking with unlimited manual trips, manual income and expense entry, live tax estimates and basic reports. What it does not include is automatic trip detection or automatic import from a linked bank account or card. Both of those start at $9.99 a month on Premium.
How much is Hurdlr Premium?
Hurdlr Premium is $9.99 a month, or $99.99 for a year in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Hurdlr's help center quotes the annual web plan at $100 and costs it out at $8.34 a month. Paying annually saves $19.89 against twelve monthly charges, a little under 17%, which Hurdlr describes as 16%.
How much does Hurdlr Pro cost?
Hurdlr Pro is $200 per year, with no monthly option. It adds an annual tax filing covering the federal return and one state for US non-enterprise users, invoicing and payment collection, a chart of accounts and general ledger, manual journal entries, home office deduction tracking, advanced reporting and the ability to invite your accountant. Upgrading from Premium is prorated against what you already paid.
Does Hurdlr Pro include tax filing?
Yes. Hurdlr's help center states that annual tax filing covering the federal return plus one state is included for US non-enterprise Pro users. That is the main reason the $100.01 step up from Premium can pay for itself, since a professionally prepared self-employed return commonly runs $300 to $600. Everlance Professional bundles filing and audit defense for $119.99, which is $80 less.
Can I buy Hurdlr Pro in the App Store?
No. Apple lists exactly two Hurdlr in-app purchases, Premium monthly at $9.99 and Premium annual at $99.99, and the Google Play in-app purchase range runs $5.99 to $99.99 per item. Neither store carries a $200 item, so Pro is bought on the web. That also means a Pro subscription has no App Store or Google Play refund route.
Does Hurdlr offer refunds?
Rarely. Hurdlr's refund policy explains that because you can trial the product, switch plans and cancel at any time without contacting support, refund requests are seldom granted. The exception is a subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which can be refunded under Apple's or Google's own policies and time limits instead.
Is Hurdlr cheaper than Everlance?
On monthly billing, yes, narrowly: Hurdlr Premium is $9.99 against Everlance Starter at $10.99. On annual billing Everlance is cheaper, $89.99 against $99.99. At the top of each range Everlance Professional at $119.99 undercuts Hurdlr Pro at $200 and adds $1 million of audit defense, though Pro brings full double-entry accounting and invoicing that Everlance does not have. The full breakdown is in our Hurdlr vs Everlance pricing comparison.
Is there a cheaper way to get Hurdlr Premium?
Sometimes. Hurdlr is listed in the Q2 digital banking marketplace, which many US banks and credit unions run inside their online banking, at $8 a month plus tax, currently discounted 25% to $6. That is below the $9.99 direct price and, at $96 a year, below the $99.99 annual plan too. You can only reach it if your own bank offers that marketplace, so check your business banking before subscribing directly.
Is the cost of Hurdlr tax-deductible?
Hurdlr says yes, describing the subscription as a deductible business expense, and the Q2 marketplace listing repeats the point. How much you can actually deduct depends on how you use it, so a subscription covering a mix of business and personal driving may not be fully deductible. Confirm the treatment with whoever prepares your return.
